KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Questions,
answered.
The things guests most often ask before a visit. Anything else? Call 940-726-3785.
Do I need a reservation for a tasting?
Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, and you can book online for up to seven guests. Walk-ins are welcome for parties of five or fewer, though we can’t promise a table inside. Tastings are poured indoors; the patio is first come, first served for glasses, bottles and food.
What does a tasting cost?
Whites are $18, dry reds $20, premium reds $25, and a select tasting of any five wines is $30. Parties of five or more share one check with a 20% gratuity. Please reserve only for the guests who are coming: a $25 fee applies for each reserved guest who doesn’t arrive.
Can I book a room for a celebration?
Yes. The Library, the Theater, the Screen Porch and the Upstairs Lounge can be booked online with a 50% deposit; the whole Tasting Room & Patio is arranged with us directly. Rentals need two weeks’ notice and wrap up by 10 pm.
Are children welcome?
We love families! Children are welcome but must stay at your table and be well-behaved, as our tastings are designed for an adult experience. If you bring children, you may bring them something to drink, as we serve only wine and water.
Anything to keep in mind for other guests?
Other visitors may be enjoying a child-free day. We appreciate your understanding.
Can I buy wine to take home?
Of course. Feel free to take your favorite wines home with you, and on Thirsty Thursday bottles are half price.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, casual clothes suited to the outdoors and a walk around the vineyard.
Can I bring my dog?
We kindly ask that pets stay at home, unless they are service animals. Our own vineyard dogs are all sweet; you can meet them on our family page.
Can I bring food or drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not allowed in the tasting room. You are welcome to enjoy a packed picnic on the lawn, or outside food on the patio. No outside alcohol, please, including alcohol-free drinks.
Getting home safely
Please drink responsibly, and consider a designated driver or a ride service if you plan to taste. Our partner Red River Rides offers winery transportation.
