MEET OUR FAMILY

Family-owned.
By the lake.

A vineyard and tasting room in North Texas, and a labor of love passed down through generations.

Our family-owned and operated vineyard sits beside Lake Ray Roberts, on rich soil with ample sunlight: the right place to grow fine grapes. In the tasting room you can taste the results, from robust reds to crisp whites, each one handcrafted to show the flavors of the region.

We take pride in a warm, welcoming room where you can savor a glass and take in the view. As a family, we are committed to sustainable practices, so future generations can enjoy this land too. Come taste the fruits of our labor and our family's hospitality.

“In 1995, Dr. Cummings, an ob-gyn, and his wife took a drive one lazy Saturday to search for property to buy outside of the city. While on this quick trip, they traveled down a dirt road that eventually spilled into a pig farm with a for sale sign. That weekend they purchased the land, just north of Lake Ray Roberts. Mrs. Cummings eventually designed a palatial two-story home in 2005, and the couple settled in with their blended families.”

About our vineyard

Our 100 acres of lakeside land include 15 acres of carefully tended vines. Tempranillo thrives on the sunny slopes and gives deep, complex flavors. Grenache enjoys the gentle lake breezes, for an elegant, fruity wine. Albariño, close to the water, develops a refreshing acidity and vibrant minerality. Together they make wines that taste of this lakeside place.

THE VINEYARD DOGS

You'll meet them
before you meet us.

  • Lola. An 11-year-old Rottweiler and the queen of relaxation. She loves her naps and snacks, and she's always ready with a smile.
  • Bam Bam. An 11-year-old rescue with a big heart and an even bigger head. He keeps a watchful eye on everyone, especially when there's cheese around.
  • Tannin. Our feisty little sister, full of energy and always ready with a loud hello. That bark means she's excited to meet you.

Please leave your own pets at home, unless they are service animals.
