“In 1995, Dr. Cummings, an ob-gyn, and his wife took a drive one lazy Saturday to search for property to buy outside of the city. While on this quick trip, they traveled down a dirt road that eventually spilled into a [pig]farm with a for sale sign. That weekend they purchased the land, just north of Lake Ray Roberts. Mrs. Cummings eventually designed a palatial two-story home in 2005, and the couple settled in with their blended families.”

About Our Vineyards

Nestled on 100 acres of picturesque lakeside property, our vineyard boasts 15 acres of meticulously tended vines. The terroir of our land, with its unique combination of soil, climate, and topography, imparts a distinct character to our grapes. The Tempranillo vines thrive in the sun-drenched slopes, producing grapes with deep, complex flavors. Meanwhile, the Grenache vines bask in the gentle lake breezes, contributing to the elegant and fruity profile of the wine. Our Albariño grapes, influenced by the proximity to the water, develop a refreshing acidity and vibrant minerality. This harmonious interaction between the land and the vines culminates in wines that truly reflect the essence of our lakeside terroir.
